We truly have the best job in the world: creating smiles, bringing people together, and making shared memories around the table. With amazing food, of course! Tonight, students, faculty, and staff showed up, showed the love, and reminded us exactly why we love what we do. What a community! ? I continue to be so impressed by the Colby Dining team and everything they do. Creating an event like this is no small feat. It takes an incredible team behind the scenes and our team absolutely delivered! From the long hours designing the menu, prepping and transporting food, to grilling and smoking everything to perfection, I’m incredibly grateful for the people behind the tent who make these moments possible. ?? And a huge thank you to all of our guests for being so gracious and kind to our team members. We continue to be inspired by the Colby community and the love we feel across campus. ? Happy Caturday Day, Colby Friends!?? We know that many of you are missing your fur babies as you head off to school. The good news? Thank goodness for FaceTime! My family’s cats were adopted from the Waterville Humane Society, and we know that many of you support the shelter as well. Thank you for all that you do!! We adopted our cats during the COVID period , and we’re so grateful we were able to give them a safe, loving, and secure home. Our Olly was diagnosed with the highest graded heart murmur a cat can receive. But look at him loving life and being the absolute love in our family! A big thank you to everyone who supports local animal shelters and assists in giving these sweet animals the second chances they deserve. Students, we applaud you!! We went completely off-menu to celebrate the return of our student leaders and student athletes, and let’s just say… it was EPIC. Loaded baked potato bar with freshly chopped bacon, vegan chili and beef chili, burgers, hot dogs, those hand-breaded chicken tenders you all love! And of course wings, spanakopita, mac & cheese bites… we brought the works! But honestly, the best part for me was watching our amazing team make it all happen behind the scenes. Every dipping sauce (5!) was made from scratch. From Chef Sean’s ranch to Carolina BBQ and so many more, our team brought the special love. We ❤️ our students this much! What a kickoff! Let’s keep the momentum going all year long.! ? WELCOME BACK, COLBY STUDENTS!!! ? #colbydiningdaily #colbycollege #colbylove #welovefood

☀️? What a beautiful morning celebrating the amazing Class of 2026 at the President’s House Senior Brunch! Joy, sunshine, laughter, and so many unforgettable memories filled the day. From Sheila and Marie pouring mimosas to Sean carving the perfect prime rib, we hope you enjoyed the final results as much as we loved planning and executing a very special dining event for our Seniors! Sheila has been with Colby Dining for over 50 years now, and her love for serving this institution is an inspiration to us all. Our bakery and culinary teams worked around the clock to make everything extra special, and this brunch was truly one to remember. To the Class of 2026: thank you for bringing your energy, kindness, and bright spirits to campus every single day. ☀️🥂 What a beautiful morning celebrating the amazing Class of 2026 at the President’s House Senior Brunch! Joy, sunshine, laughter, and so many unforgettable memories filled the day. From Sheila and Marie pouring mimosas to Sean carving the perfect prime rib, we hope you enjoyed the final results as much as we loved planning and executing a very special dining event for our Seniors! Each table kicked things off with charcuterie, Caesar salad, and yeast rolls served with whipped honey butter. We had the best time collaborating with the Student Planning Board on this family style Palentine’s Dinner! Each table kicked things off with charcuterie, Caesar salad, and yeast rolls served with whipped honey butter. Our main course lineup featured chicken Parmesan, tofu Milanese, cheese ravioli with Fra Diavolo sauce, and roasted broccolini with lemon-infused olive oil. ? Team Member Tuesday: Valentine’s Edition! ? This week we’re featuring a very special Valentine’s-centered teammate! Meet Kody! Kody has been with us for 10 years, starting when he was just 16. On his first day, he met his future wife, Leah. She trained him, and the rest is history! Together, they worked their way up through the company, and today Kody is one of our Sous Chefs and a serious pizza extraordinaire! ?? Kody also works alongside his father, Rob, who helped spark his love for cooking early on. One of his favorite memories? Learning how to cook lobsters with his dad as a special Valentine’s gift for his mom.?❤️ What Kody loves most about Leah: “She’s like lava, everything folds and melts around her.” Awww! From Nov 4–Dec 13, our team members will come together to support more than a dozen children’s hospitals in the communities we serve. 100% of the proceeds we raise from Casual Friday will be donated to the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital in Portland. With us since 2017 and officially on the executive chef team for the last two months, Chef Adam brings more than just delicious food to the table! His dish of choice to serve up? Laughter! Great choice, Adam! ? From Maine to SoCal (18 years on the West Coast!) and back again, Adam has lived coastal, central, and even on an island. Why come back to Maine? His answer: “Why wouldn’t you?” ? ? You’ll spot him in his signature “Snoop Dogg shoes” because flavor starts from the ground up. ? ? Favorite season? Fall. ?️ Pets?
